I just wanted to take a moment to invite you to a special Easter oratorio performance of Rob Gardner's "Lamb of God" on Sunday, March 25th at 7 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New Brighton, MN (100 Silver Lake Rd NW - corner of Cty. E and Silver Lake Rd.) featuring the MN Mormon Chorale, orchestra and thirteen soloists.
"Lamb of God" is a sacred musical retelling of the final days of the life of Jesus Christ, His Atonement and Resurrection. It recounts the events through the eyes of those who loved Him and knew Him best: Peter, John, Thomas, Mary and Martha of Bethany, Mary Magdalene, and His mother Mary. The event is free and open to the public and we encourage all those age 8 and older to attend. Please invite your friends, neighbors and co-workers to this very special event that celebrates the Easter season and the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
As a personal note, it has been an incredibly uplifting experience for me while preparing for this event - many miracles have occurred along the way that have made the event possible. I know without a doubt that the work is inspired by God and it will bring you great peace and joy as well as bring you closer to Jesus Christ this Easter season. Please come and experience this beautiful and inspiring music/message and I promise you will be so happy you did! :)
